Welcome to the online home of Rutland Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. We are a group of Harley Davidson owners who enjoy the company of like minded friends when riding our bikes and socialising. The Harley Owners Group is the organisation bringing riders together across the world.

At Rutland Chapter H.O.G. We offer plenty of activities and events throughout the year as well as regular meetings, which are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Come and meet members, guests and friends - old and new, over a drink at a local friendly hostelry (plenty of parking, private room and outside seating for the good weather).

We are a friendly bunch and are always looking to welcome new members who share our passion for everything Harley and enjoying life to the full.

The Chapter is run by a committee who organise group rides, parties, charity events, weekend trips, rides to European events and, of course, the annual Chapter rally. The Committee also manage Chapter funds and the supply of Chapter merchandise (patches, T-shirts etc).

What does it mean to be a HOG and Rutland Chapter member? That's totally up to you. Because one of the great things about being a part of HOG is how easy it is to custom fit your membership. For some, reading HOG® magazine occasionally and wearing their H.O.G. pin with pride is all the involvement they want. For others, hardly a day goes by that they're not planning a chapter meeting, helping organize a rally, sorting through some riding photos, riding with fellow members, or riding off to some faraway place for a touring adventure. So whether you love being part of a crowd or are a lone rider – whether your idea of fun is dancing 'til dawn or just riding all day (or both) – you can tailor your HOG involvement to provide a perfect fit for your personality. One of the best ways to get involved with HOG or to meet new friends is join a Chapter.

To join Rutland Chapter you must first be a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G). If you’ve purchased a brand new motorcycle you will receive a full years membership of H.O.G. free of charge as part of the package. Our Events Calendar on this Website and the Chapter Notice Board at the Dealership both contain details of Rutland Chapter and HOG Events. We have members that attend nearly all events and others that we only see once in a while. The choice is yours, whatever you choose we’ll be really pleased to see you.

Chapters are regional branches of HOG and are normally based and sponsored by a dealership. Sycamore Harley Davidson of Uppingham, kindly support and sponsor Rutland Chapter. To join us simply ask any member of the shop staff for an application form or download one from the link below. The cost of joining us is £15 for a single or £20 for a joint membership. We are just normal people from all walks of life, who have a common passion for riding motorcycles.
